Shop sleeping bagsIn Germany, mothers were buying sleeping bags for their babies. Wim Sr. Found that to be a neat thing. Holding the sleeping bag in his hand, he spontaneously thought that - with a few minor adjustments - the sleeping bag could become an ideal baby sleeping bag. He went to his sewing workshop and asked if they could make these adjustments. Two days later, the baby sleeping bag was born. Jollein has become an expert in the field of baby sleeping bags. Checking for yourself and using common sense is the best method to ensure your baby sleeps safely. Additionally, there is a technical tool: the TOG value. This is a rating system for the insulating quality of bedding. The colder the environment, the higher the TOG value should be. Conversely, the warmer the room, the lower the TOG needed. TOG stands for Thermal Overall Grade, and the TOG value indicates how much body heat is retained in items like sleeping bags, blankets, swaddles, clothing, etc.
Note: TOG values should not be added together. This is because of the insulating air layer that forms between two layers, which always creates extra warmth. Trust your instincts and use common sense.
